Awards provide the opportunity for the Alabama Young Democrats to recognize outstanding chapters and individuals for the work they have done in the past biennium.. Award applications are due May 1, 2021.

Recognizes the hardwork of chapter leaders and members who have gone above and beyond to build an outstanding flagship chapter
Young Democrat of the Year
Recognizes the hardwork of a Young Democrat who has gone above and beyond to carry the banner of what it means to be a member of AYD
Outstanding Chapter Program
Recognizes the chapter program that furthers the goals of the Alabama Young Democrats and the Young Democrats of America
Outstanding Chapter Event
Recognizes the chapter event that furthers the goals of the Alabama Young Democrats and the Young Democrats of America
Rising Star – Young Democrat
Recognizes a Young Democrat who has shown great potential to build the future of the Alabama Young Democrats
Rising Star – Chapter
Recognizes a chapter that has shown great potential to build the future of the Alabama Young Democrats
Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award
Recognizes an alum of the Alabama Young Democrats who has made significant contributions to AYD and the democratic movement
