• Trumann Elementary
  School
  
  Fowler Engineering provided structural engineering services for the 87,000 sq. ft. elementary school in Eastern Arkansas. A hybrid design of pre-engineered steel, structural steel and reinforced masonry was utilized for the super structure along with shallow concrete foundations. To ensure the safety of the students, one classroom on each wing was designed as a custom safe room.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• NWCC Football Fieldhouse
  
  This 24,000 sq. ft. fieldhouse was engineered structurally by Fowler Engineering to be the hub for the NWCC Rangers athletics department. The design consisted of reinforced concrete and light gage steel truss roof system founded on shallow concrete foundations. The building, which sits adjacent to the football field, will house coaches’ offices, athletic trainer rooms, meeting rooms, an area for hydro therapy, and a weight room.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• NWCC Allied Health
  
  Fowler Engineering provided structural engineering services for the two-story, 30,000 sq. ft. Allied Health building. The design consisted of a steel super structure, a light gage metal truss roof system, along with shallow concrete foundations. This building features a student lounge, kitchen, multiple offices, a shared computer lab, a custom safe room, and labs and classrooms that will be utilized by students from various medical majors.
